Both were from people with iPhones, but I've never owned one myself. If that's the case, you have what is called an intercarrier text messaging issue. I explained everything that was happening and showed them my text threads. Please note that all your data will be erased and your phone reset to factory defaults. I also know for sure that some of the texts I never got. I don't have all the settings for the first workaround you suggested. Try checking if the issue occurs in a particular area.

The situation seems resolved now, but I did not get any 'backlogged' texts to know for sure. I see that you have tagged some mods so you can go one step further and if you click on one of their names then select send message you can send a private message directly to them. In this case, I invite you to send me a private message to. It must have refreshed my connection and pushed the missing texts through. All you do is tell us to update our phones software and restart. I called and they changed some settings on their end and had me do the same.
